DGU glass, or Double Glazing Units, refers to a type of insulated glass comprising two panes of glass separated by a spacer and filled with an inert gas, such as argon, in the gap between the panes. This design provides excellent heat insulation, sound insulation, and resistance to UV light. DGU glass is commonly used in both residential and commercial buildings to reduce energy costs, minimize noise pollution, and prevent the fading of fabrics and furniture. Once installed, DGU glass cannot be repaired if there is a leakage of gas, so proper sealants must be used to maintain its effectiveness.
